Pizza Throwdown 2023

Get ready for a night of delicious food and friendly competition at Tucson Originals' 2023 Pizza Throwdown and Dessert Duel. On May 27th from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. Fresco Pizzeria and Pastaria located at 3011 E Speedway Blvd will host Tucson's top pizzerias as they go slice for slice in a battle for pizza supremacy. The Pizza Throwdown will feature local pizzerias competing for the title of Pizza Throwdown Champion. Not to be outdone the Dessert Duel will feature Tucson Original restaurants competing for best sweet bite.

This year’s Pizza Throwdown and Dessert Duel competitors include:

Rocco’s Little Chicago, Vero Amore, Mama’s Pizza, Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria, Empire Pizza, Mama Louisa’s, Zio Peppe, Fire Truck Pizza, Dante’s Fire, The Dutch and more TBA

Barrio Brewing Co. and Firetruck Brewing Company. will be on site pouring their locally brewed beers.

Guests will receive three drink tickets and all the pizza and desserts they can eat!
