Chef of the Month

Meet Chefs Ben Rine and Jared Wren, owners of BrushFire BBQ Co. With their original location on at 2745 N. Campbell doing so well, they recently closed the deal on an exciting second location: Brushfire #2 will be coming soon at 7080 E. 22nd St. Read more about them at http://www.tucsonoriginals.com.

Chefs Ben and Jared are a “couple of hometown, local boys who loved to smoke meat.” A signature item, Tender Smokey Ribs, is dry rubbed with ‘Sassy Rib Rub’, slow smoked, and wet mopped for hours and hours in a wood smoker.
